As opposed to this, sourceFilter only allows for filtering on the level of source values and should be used when the graphic relation is not varied based on the filtering, but only the values are varied. Properties such as sourceValueSet, sourceValue and sourceValueInterval partly work as filters as well and can more easily be used for most cases. For examle, with sourceValueSet existing sets can very easily be referenced. sourceFilter covers all other more complex filtering needs.
